My mom insisted that I take Home Ec, but strangely that course gave me more help when I moved out on my own than I could have ever thought. Mrs. Roberts made the course interesting and fun. I was able to see her when I visited Ft. Knox in the early 70's. I am thankful that I had teachers the quality of Mrs. Roberts and I remember her fondly.
Mrs. Roberts' lessons were life's lessons. I took 4 yrs of Home Ec. with her. There's not much I didn't learn from her. Three much used lessons were organization, prioritizing, and time management. She by far was the best teacher I had anywhere. Thank you Mrs. Roberts.
Thanks for the kind words about my Mom. I never took her class, but obviously I learned a lot from her. I taught for over 30 years (Spanish) & now work for Customs & Border Protection in Houston,TX.
